I offer manuscript consultations in both poetry and prose. I’ll read your work with care, curiosity, and critical attention and provide holistic, detailed written feedback addressing craft and structure. I’ll also leave you with questions to consider and offer personalized reading recommendations to inspire and challenge your writing. I specialize in helping writers clarify what their work is already doing, make specific editorial choices to strengthen and develop their vision, and prepare work for submission.

We’ll follow up with a 1-hour Zoom meeting to thoroughly discuss the feedback and talk through revision strategies and other next steps.

wayfinding & mentorship

Stuck or uninspired? Unsure where your writing is going? I offer a guided, one-on-one mentorship exercise that uses your own taste and intuition to chart a path forward for creative work. You’ll put together a package of non-literary and literary art you love alongside a piece of your own writing, either complete in or in-progress (specifications will be provided). I’ll do a specific formal analysis of these works and their interactions, and we’ll meet for 1 hour over Zoom to discuss areas of inquiry and structural opportunities available to you going forward. You will come away with big questions, big answers, and a blueprint to scaffold a new piece of writing.
